November 13, 2022
Good morning my friends. I hope you are doing well and enjoying life. This past Friday, November 11th, our nation celebrated Veterans Day. This day honors all men and women who have served in our country’s military. I want to pay tribute to all these heroes who have faithfully served America; with their loyalty, dedication and sacrifice. They deserve so much more than this country provides. It’s really a shame how poorly the men and women, of all branches of our military are treated; especially in their pay, benefits and health care. The politicians of this land reap so much for themselves, yet do so little to help our Vets. Over the years, the power and wealth accumulated by political leaders has grown by leaps and bounds. The majority of these individuals continue to line their pockets with the funds provided by the hard work of the American people. These unscrupulous beings have no moral code of ethics; especially when it comes to assisting the veterans who protect the USA and our freedom. These same leaders, are slowly destroying the integrity of the great nation; along with the weakening our military and law enforcement. These are sad and troubling days my friends. I pray our nation, and all Americans, unite to stand together to stop the atrocities some political leaders are perpetrating against our veterans, this country and all people.
I remember, when I was a kid, my Dad would go to the Veterans Administration Hospital (VA) for health care. He’d leave early in the morning and wouldn’t return until late in the afternoon or evening. He’d complain to my Mom about what waste of time it was or how they didn’t do anything to help him. He’d wait hours to see a doctor, with little or no results. There were times they would prescribe medication that would only mask symptoms, but never resolve the root cause of the problem. Luckily, my Dad had good healthcare coverage through his work employer. He was able to receive better medical service and care with private providers. As I grew up, and my father’s health declined, I realized just how poorly the VA treated our Vets. That’s when I became acutely aware that my Dad wasn’t the only veteran who had similar issues with the VA. I have family members, friends and co-workers, who are veterans, and have described similar situations or poor VA care. During my career, I encountered veterans (sometimes homeless), who shared a laundry list of poor treatment stories. Americans may think our nation provides quality health care services, through the VA, but I doubt that’s 100% accurate. When you compare the pay and benefits received by politicians, athletes or entertainment personalities; to members of our military and law enforcement, it’s ridiculously lopsided. It’s crazy and astounding where Americans have placed their values. Our government leaders, and we the people, need to honor and respect our nation’s veterans. They deserve it!
America has been a free, independent and strong world power for decades. Our nations fight for freedom; beginning with the revolutionary war, through the World Wars, the collapse of the Soviet Union and end of the Cold War, were legendary times. Our space program landed men on the moon, while the technological boom advanced the world, and our country, at rapid speed. Information is a mere finger touch away. World and national events increased liberal views, socialist mentalities and radical ideologies about life and country. The family unit began to dissolve, along with morals, respect and courtesy. Many people no longer want to work, believing the government should pay their way. The cost of food, goods and services continue to increase, as inflation rises. There are factions in our own government that push to weaken our military and law enforcement. Some political leaders continue to increase their power and wealth, at the expense of all Americans. It’s heartbreaking how little is done by our government to stem the tide of veteran and law enforcement suicides in this nation. I hope and pray our land can correct the course it’s on, before we lose our freedom and independence.
In today’s world, too many people (especially many Americans) are obsessed with social media and its frivolities. Yes, it’s wonderful to laugh and be happy, but at what cost. Please don’t get caught up in the manipulation and divisive attempts by those who are working to divide and tear our nation apart (both from internal and external sources). Younger generations think they should be handed everything they desire without any effort or work. Unfortunately, my friends, freedom isn’t free. Without a free society, and the hard work of many Americans (especially our military and law enforcement), this land wouldn’t survive. Abundance, prosperity, independence and freedom are achieved through dedication, hard work and the determination of a united people. I love America and am grateful for our nation, military, veterans and law enforcement personnel across this great land. Please stay strong and respect all veterans, law enforcement and our beautiful land. I salute and honor all of our nations amazing Veterans, today and always! Thank you for your service. I trust God and the universe will guide and protect us. Follow your dreams. They know the way.
Please tune in and join me again next Sunday for more! The puzzle of life is always changing. Change can lead to amazing opportunities. Together, let’s be healthy and strong; mentally, physically and spiritually!
Thanks for your love and support! Embrace Life! Be sure to get outside and enjoy nature!
